FRIDAY NIGHT WELCOME PARTY

For guests who have RSVPed for the Friday evening Welcome Party, please join the grooms at Muchacho Alegre, a local Mexican restaurant, located at 640 N Lee Hwy, Lexington, VA, 24450.

 

Festivities begin at 6:00 PM. A light buffet will be provided, but the full menu and a cash bar will also be available. Dress casually.

THE MAIN EVENT

We will start our celebration with a casual cocktail hour that begins at 4:00. For guests taking the shuttles, please plan to depart from the Spark Hotel or in front of the Gin Hotel beginning at 3:30. The shuttles will run on a continuous loop between the two hotels and the wedding venue.

 

For those who are driving, please follow the directions listed on the Lexington Valley Vineyard website and DO NOT RELY ON GPS (we can't emphasize this enough). Parking is available in front of the fence surrounding the lower vineyard and along Norton Way. Look for signs and family members to direct you and reference the map below.

We will have a brief ceremony at 5:00 followed by a barbecue dinner buffet (with veggie and vegan friendly options!) and then plenty of dancing and celebrating. Our dessert will feature a traditional Pittsburgh cookie table, so if you would like to contribute cookies to the occasion, please let us know.

​Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! We feel truly grateful that you will join us for our celebration. While we have not created a wedding registry, for those still wishing to give, we would simply appreciate contributions toward a honeymoon fund. We'll have a table to leave any gifts and cards at the wedding site.

TRANSPORTATION

We have contracted with a local transportation company that will provide van service between Lexington and the vineyard.

SUGGESTED ATTIRE

This will be an outdoor tented wedding celebration that includes grass and gravel areas, so we recommend dressy casual autumn attire with layers and comfortable footwear.  At least that's how we'll be dressed!
